ABOUT US
Since our inception on November 28, 2013, in the home of Pastor and First Lady Gibson, our vibrant community has thrived, thanks to the dedication of beloved members like the Gibson’s and Minister Maxine Smith. On November 28, 2014, we joyfully celebrated the 1st Anniversary of the Assembly of Worship, a significant milestone that allowed us to reflect on the remarkable progress and blessings of the past year!
In February 2014, we took a bold step forward, moving into a rented facility, launching our building fund, and completing our 501(c)(3) registration. Despite the challenges, our praise and worship team soared to new heights, and we launched “C4: Committed Children Chasing Christ” to organize delightful fundraising activities, providing a free summer vacation for our children. It’s our collective resilience that has brought us this far.
Our heartfelt theme, “We’ve Come This Far by Faith,” beautifully encapsulates our inspiring journey of trusting in God’s promises as we uplift our community through His Word.

Our Purpose and Impact: What We Do at Assembly of Worship
At Assembly of Worship, our mission centers on nurturing spiritual growth and creating an inviting space for worship and fellowship. We offer engaging worship services and faith education designed to deepen understanding and strengthen each person’s relationship with Jesus Christ. Through ministries tailored to all ages, we empower individuals to live their faith fully and serve others with compassion.
